Cover design concept for Gerardo Sámano Córdova’s novel Monstrilio, a surreal literary horror novel exploring the visceral and embodied experience of grief and the monstruous sides of love and loyalty, following a grieving mother who reanimates her child after his death into a carnivorous monster and shoulders his subsequent struggle to be human.
